- Appointments are available daily per availability of first come first serve, next day appointments starts as early as 6AM upon near by technician availability, distance to client and customer time preference.
- Treatment is guaranteed for 30 days from the day of your appointment, qualified for guarantee are families who received screening and treatment by Lil-Buggers lice technician, all members of the family must get checked and treated to qualify for our 30 days guarantee. If you happen to find anything in the hair that looks like live lice, please take a clear photo and send it to us, we will review and if it is an adult lice, we will send a technician to re-treat the family at no charge to you. The guarantee is applied only for live adults lice. a trace of disformed nits (eggs) and egg shells, nymph (baby lice), are normal to be seen after the treatment, due to the life cycle of the lice, therefore we provide an easy follow up written ‘After-care’ step by step guidance to eliminate any dis-formed nits that were too small to come out on your schedule appointment, following the written guidance or as your technician advised is key to successful treatment, especially on severe infestation. Please rest assure most cases are resolved within 1 treatment. Therefor we provided you with a simple comb out manual to ensure that we got them all out. Our after care products are for preventative, assistant with removing empty, bug less, egg shells and nourishing the scalp from previous lice bites irritation. If you feel you need an additional treatment we recommend scheduling the treatment within 3-10 days of your initial appointment, we offer a discount rate for a follow up treatment at $99 an hour, usually the follow up appointment takes less time than the initial appointment.
- The time of treatment may vary depending on the level of infestation, thickness and texture of the hair and of course client cooperation. On an average a mild to medium case treatment takes an 60-90 minutes The most infested person will take the longest, then it gradually goes down. Our trained technician works fast and thoroughly to ensure elimination of infestation. A rushing clients will result in deprived the service guaranteed.
- A clear certificate is available upon request, each child receive a personalized certificate, certificate will be sent to client email upon completion of the treatment, either same day or the next morning.
- Our service is recognized as a healthcare / medical treatment. Some health insurances will reimburse FFS/ FHO. Upon request we provide an email service receipt to be provided to your healthcare insurance provider, Lil-Buggers does not guarantee approval of reimbursements.
- Our product line of after treatment hair care highly recommended to be used during the cycle of the lice (30 days) and safe to use as a lice preventative afterwards. If any symptoms of rash or allergy please stop using the product immediately and consult with your doctor.
- Due to sanitization code we must use a new comb per family, the rate of the comb is marked on the price list, you will get charged for a new comb and it is yours to keep after completion of the treatment. According to your technician guidance or simply follow up with our after care plan of weekly/ bi- weekly (severe infestation) comb out through a wet and moist hair either with oil or conditioner.
- Due to sanitation code we will ask for an old towel to use while preforming the treatment. Keep in mind the towel might get oil stained. The towel can be used again only after placing it in a trash bag, aside for at least 72 hours and after wash and dry. Please wear clothes that you won’t mind if they get oiled stains.
- All of our technician had been background checked, has no criminals record or known arrests. Lil-Buggers take no responsibility for parents who leaves their minors with the technician, we ask supervising the treatment by an adult.
- Discreet service, we highly respect our clients privacy. The clinician arrives with unmarked vehicle and clothing. We ask our technician to attend with a professional attire such as scrubs. The technician hair will be covered or pulled up to protect her own hair.
- If you refer us to your friend we will never share any details in regards to your session, such as: length of the session, severity, pricing etc… Thank you for your referrals!
- The rate includes travel fee for up to 20 miles from your near by technician, afterwards there is a long distance travel fee of $50 for up to 50 miles from near by technician. On a long distance travel of over 50 miles we will charge minimum of 4 hours of service regardless if took less time to preform the treatment.
- Cancelation of a booked and confirmed appointment in less then 6 hours before the appointment will result in a loss of the first hour charge, regardless of the time of the scheduled appointment.
- Rescheduling of a confirmed and booked appointment must be requested at least 4 hours prior to an existing appointment reservation, otherwise will result in a loss of first hour charge + any travel fee.
- Toll and parking will be charged to client.
- Sunday and major holidays surcharged of $50
- The rate is flat hourly rate of one hour minimum, after the first hour billed at 30 minutes increment. Upon booking the appointment you agree to be charged for the first hour as a confirmation and agree to pay all remaining balance of service at the completion of the appointment. Your assigned technician will indicate her arrival and departure time, you will initial and sign this form and will be used as a signed credit card transaction by Lil-Buggers.
- Local state Tax will be applied to the final bill for all products purchased.
- Processing fee of 3.5% will be included in the final bill.
- We can not offer any return of service given, we can not offer any return of used or unused products.
- If you wish your clinician to wear a face mask please let us know we will pass your request to the dispatcher.
